Mediana HeartOn A15 Adult / Paediatric Replacement Pads

Sealed foil pack for hygiene and shelf stability, dual adult/paediatric compatibility via AED mode switch, pre gelled adhesive for rapid application, two year shelf life from manufacture, single use design, clear labelling and compatibility specifically for the Mediana HeartOn A15.

Pre gelled, self adhesive pads are removed from the foil pack and applied to the patient’s bare chest following the printed placement guide. When connected, the HeartOn A15 recognises the pads; selecting paediatric mode reduces energy for children, while the AED analyses rhythm and prompts shock delivery as required.

How long do Mediana HeartOn pads last before expiry?

The pads have a two year shelf life from the date of manufacture. Store them in their sealed foil packaging in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Check expiry dates monthly during equipment inspections and replace pads before they reach their printed expiry.

Can these Mediana HeartOn pads be used on children?

Yes. The pads are suitable for both adult and paediatric patients when used with the HeartOn A15’s mode switch. Select the AED’s paediatric setting to reduce delivered energy appropriately. Do not attempt to modify pads manually, always follow device prompts and local paediatric resuscitation guidance.

Should the Mediana HeartOn replacement pads be pre connected to the AED?

You may pre connect the pads and store them with the AED for faster deployment. Ensure the connector is correctly seated so the AED can perform routine self tests. Regularly inspect the connection, packaging integrity and expiry dates to maintain readiness and avoid unexpected faults.

Are Mediana HeartOn replacement pads single use?

Yes. These pads are single use only. After application in a resuscitation event, dispose of the used pads according to local clinical waste regulations and replace with a new sealed set to restore the AED to full operational readiness and hygiene standards.

Will the AED detect pad faults?

When pre connected, the HeartOn A15 performs routine self tests that include pad connectivity checks. If the AED detects a fault with pads or connection it will alert you. If an alert occurs, reseat the pads, inspect for damage and replace with a new genuine set if the fault persists.
