Is the HeartSine 500P suitable for children?

Yes, the HeartSine 500P can be used on paediatric patients. For children under 8 years old or 25kg, you must use a HeartSine Paediatric Pad-Pak (sold separately). This cartridge automatically adjusts the energy levels and CPR coaching to be safe and appropriate for a child’s smaller body and heart.

Where is the best place to install the cabinet and sign?

Install the cabinet in a central, unobstructed location, such as a main reception or staff breakroom. The angled sign should be mounted high above the cabinet. Its 3D design ensures the AED can be spotted instantly from any direction, which is critical during a time-sensitive emergency.
